Training School for Therapists

In February 2001 Mifne Center held the first training course of its kind in Israel for the purpose of providing follow-up treatment to families across the country who had been in treatment at the Center.

Studies take place at the Mifne Center in Rosh Pinna.

There is an option for a short term training course for foreign professionals.


Course 2005

Course Objective

To train individuals with a degree in the social sciences how to use the Mifne method in order to work as therapists with families across the country who have completed the residential segment at the Center.

The course has two parts:
  • PART I - Knowledge and experience
    Focus on three topics simultaneously: Theory, Observation, and experience.
  • PART II - Practice
    Focus on supervised hands-on practice.

Certification

Graduates of the course receive a diploma from the School for Social Work, Bar Ilan University. The course is recognized by the Ministry of Education as in-service training.

The Mifne Center is recognized as an institute for continuing education.

Practical work takes place for the most part in the homes of the families located in all regions of the country.

LOCATION: Mifne Center, Restoration Site, Rosh Pinna, Israel

Successful graduates will be offered assistance and direction in finding work.
