Training School for Therapists – Affiliated with Bar-Ilan University
In February 2001 the Mifne Center held the first Therapists Training Course of its kind in Israel for the purpose of providing follow-up treatment (after-care) to families across the country that had been in treatment at the Mifne Center.
- Studies take place at the Bar-Ilan University and at the Mifne Center in Rosh Pinna.
- There is an option for a short term training course for foreign professionals.
Course 2009-2011
Course Objective: To train individuals with a degree in the social sciences how to use the Mifne Method in order to work as therapists with families across the country who have completed the residential segment at the Mifne Center.
The course has two parts:
- PART I - Knowledge and experience: Focus on three topics simultaneously: Theory, Observation, and experience.
- PART II - Practice: Focus on supervised hands-on practice. | Certification
Graduates of the course receive a diploma from the School for Social Work, Bar Ilan University. The course is recognized by the Ministry of Education as in-service training.
The Mifne Center is recognized as an institute for continuing education.
