Hanna Alonim
Hanna A. Alonim is the Founder and Director of the Mifne Center (established in 1987) for Early Intervention in the Treatment of Autism – a Family Treatment Program.
Alonim is an expert in Early Childhood Development Disorders of the Autism Spectrum. She pioneered the Diagnosis of Infants Unit at the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv, and developed the ESPASI (Early Signs of Pre-Autism Scale for Infants, 2005).
She is a Partner in Research of Autism in Early Childhood at the Schneider Hospital.
Alonim is the head of the Mifne School for Therapists at the Bar Ilan University and her Ph.D. Research deals with “Eating Disorders in Young Children with Autism.”
Hanna Alonim has been invited to present her Family Concept approach at international conferences worldwide, and has published papers on the following topics:
- The Mifne Method
- The impact of the family involvement in the therapy
- Eating Disorders in Autism
- Integration of Children in Mainstream Schools
- Infants at Risk – Diagnosis and Treatment (the main purpose of her Center)
Hanna Alonim is the Public Representative of the Helsinki Committee for Medical Research at the Ziv Medical Center, Israel.
