After-Care Program
After-Care reinforces the child’s progress
Most children experience a breakthrough during the first stage of the residential segment at the Mifne Center.
The second stage of the Mifne Program takes place at the family’s home in order to reinforce the child’s progress.
Treatment continues at home with counseling on a regular basis from the Mifne Center’s therapeutic staff. Therapists working with the child are graduates of the Mifne Training Program.
The therapeutic supervision and supportive relationship with Mifne continue for as long as needed, depending upon the child’s progress and the family’s preferences. The following support options are available:
- Family counseling at home in Israel or abroad for foreign families
- Meetings at the Mifne Center in Rosh Pinna or in Tel Aviv
- Videos of the child are sent to Mifne for clinical assessment to generate feedback to the parents
- Trained therapists are supervised by Mifne staff
- Telephone consultations are available
