Most children experience a breakthrough during the residential segment.
In most cases, it is necessary for follow-up treatment to continue at home in order to reinforce the child’s progress.
Treatment continues at home with counseling on a regular basis from the Center’s therapeutic staff. Therapists working with the child are graduates of the Mifne training program.
The therapeutic supervision and supportive relationship with Mifne continue for as long as needed, depending upon the child’s progress and the family’s preferences. The following support options are available:
- Family counseling at home in Israel or abroad for foreign families
- Meetings at the Center in Rosh Pinna or in the Tel Aviv office
- Videos of the child are sent to Mifne for clinical assessment to generate feedback to the parents
- Trained therapists are supervised by Mifne staff
- Telephone consultations are available
