Early Intervention Program

The Mifne model is an intensive individual treatment that focuses on the child’s potential for pleasure as a lever for change.

The family’s well-being is impacted by each of its members. The method uses a holistic approach that includes the entire nuclear family in the treatment process.

It is a 3-stage sequential program:
  • Intensive individual treatment in residence at the Center
  • Home treatment
  • Supervised integration in a mainstream nursery school

The treatment is designed to meet the developmental needs of the individual child.

The Program is for:
  • Children under age four
  • Children who are referred with a diagnosis of PDD/Autism Spectrum
  • Parents who are committed to participating in the treatment
Treatment Outcome

The ability to attend regular school is contingent upon a child's intellectual and social skills, and normative behavior, which are impaired in children on the autism spectrum. The objective of all therapeutic approaches is to help the child out of isolation and integrated into a mainstream program. Following the Mifne program children under 5 years old are able to attend regular nursery schools / kindergartens.

An outcome analysis of children who were treated at Mifne indicates an overall success rate of 74.8%.
